Course Outline
Gentle yoga, practised using props and the breath to ease into postures. Classes are tailored to personal injuries and conditions. Some meditation and breathwork included. Please use a mat and towel.
About the Tutors
Bernadette O’Donnell
Bernie has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and gained a Diploma in Yoga Teaching at the Yoga Institute of Australia in Cammeray. Her training encompassed all facets of Yoga according to the traditional Yoga teachings of India and emphasis was placed on teaching Yoga based on the needs of the individual and the situation. Since then she has been teaching a wide range of classes and is passionate about the benefits of yoga for everyone and believes if one can breathe one can do yoga! Bernie’s Yoga classes include postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), meditation and sound. She teaches classes in a style that is accessible to all and can also design individual personal practices.
Victoria Fisher
Vicky Fisher has been practising yoga for over 20 years, initially studying Iyengar yoga in London. She then trained in Sydney to teach Hatha yoga, which she has taught since 2005.Vicky strongly believes that yoga can transform lives. Vicky Fisher has been working as an editor and proof-reader for more than 30 years.

She allows us to tailor the postures by telling us how to make them easier or more difficult. It amazes me that, even though I've done yoga with her and other instructors for years, almost every lesson she has us doing a posture which I can't remember ever doing before.
- The Zoom classes worked well during the covid lockdown and socially isolating restrictions. They were very efficiently planned and run. I am, however, looking forward to the face to face classes next term in that there is a "vibe" in the group situation.
