NSW Fee Free

NSW Fee-free is a joint initiative of the Australian Commonwealth and New South Wales Governments, providing fee free training places to eligible students wanting to train, retrain or upskill. Students must commence studies between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024. Fee-free places are subject to availability and limited to one course per semester.

Eligibility for NSW Fee Free is as follows:

  • an Australian Citizen/Perm Resident/NZ citizen/humanitarian visa holder or a partner visa holder whose sponsor is a humanitarian visa holder
  • aged 15 years or older, and
  • live or work in New South Wales, and
  • no longer be at school (excluding registered home schooled)
