A Taste of Property Styling - Mosman Festival 2021

This short workshop provides a taste of our full course as part of the Mosman Festival 2021

Course Outline

If you are feeling overwhelmed by your house and its contents and just don’t know where to start or simply looking to update, replan and add value to your property, then this is for you.

Styling your property is not about a full interior design project, but about making a difference to your home on a reasonable budget.
Don’t become paralysed by the number of choices available in colour, furnishings or accessories – whether you are working with your existing home contents or purchasing brand new items.

Through careful implementation, and by utilising the techniques, stylist tips and information you will learn, you can transform your home into a welcoming, desirable and functional space which matches your lifestyle.
This workshop is equally beneficial to those who are considering selling and preparing it for buyer inspection. You will take away ideas that will help kick start you into action!

About the Trainer

Fiona studied Art, Design and Art History at Epsom School of Art and Design, UK and then moved to Australia to work in the corporate sector and utilise her Marketing and PR qualifications gained from the College of Distributive Trades in London and University of NSW, Sydney.

Fiona always maintained her keen interest in colour, design and finalised her Diploma in Interior Design. Additionally, she graduated from the International School of Colour & Design with a Certificate IV in Colour and Design and a Diploma in Surface Design. She was awarded ‘The Award for Excellence’ in both courses.

Throughout her business career she never lost touch with her passion for art and design – specifically interior design. She opened her own Interior Design consultancy in 2014 and has since worked on numerous residential design assignments in Australia and the UK, helping solve colour and design issues for both new builds and existing residences. Commercially, she has also redesigned the interior of a Sydney based restaurant, a public lobby in a large residential block and two patient waiting rooms.

Although not her primary role, Fiona gets enormous fulfillment in watching her students progress and gain confidence when dealing with their own homes, through sharing her skill with others in a classroom training ## capacity
