Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to iPads Beginners
Course Outline
Learn how to use the iPad, extend your knowledge of its unique applications and enjoy the ease of touch screen technology so you can keep in touch, have fun, entertain your family and friends, learn, search and create! This introductory course will cover the following topics:
• Getting started with your iPad
• Storage on your iPad
• Control Centre
• Installing apps
• iBooks
Please Bring
- iPad and its charger
- Notepad and Pen
(Note: This course is only available to those who can bring an iPad to class. Please do not confuse iPad with its competitors the android tablet -which can produced by a be a variety of different makers ie Samsung Google etc. iPads are manufactured by the Apple company with the Apple logo on the back)
h3. Tech Savvy Senior Funding Eligibility
The TSS program is for seniors aged 60 years and above or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander elders aged 50 years plus.
It is a requirement of this course to provide evidence of eligibility to your trainer on arrival. If you are unable to do this, you will not be allowed to participate in the class. Please bring to your session your:
- Photo identification plus evidence of date of birth (eg passport or driver’s licence)
How to Enrol
You can enrol online and over the phone using a credit card or come to our Brookvale campus 1/14 William St, Brookvale and enrol in person. Please note stairs only no lift access.
No further concessions apply.
This training is subsidised through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra.
