Hula Hooping Intermediate
Course Outline:
These hula hoop classes in Sydney are both fun and challenging with the goal of developing further upon beginner level tricks, learning transitions and working towards learning a group hoop dance sequence together!
Hooping is a super fun way to stay fit while developing coordination, stamina, balance, and rhythm. Once the initiate moves into a space of relaxation and comfort with learning new skills, and encountering feelings of excitement and joy whilst discovering opportunities to let go of the 'mind stuff' and float into a peaceful state of meditation. This 'turning off the mind' and 'switching on the body’ (also know as achieving the "flow state") is true as we develop body consciousness while spinning into core strength and centeredness.

Please note classes held at the Tramshed need to be cancelled with the council if numbers not met 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO WORKSHOP DATES due to council requirements. Please book well in advance of this to avoid disappointment."
Please Bring:
- Comfortable clothes and a drink bottle
- Hoops are provided and will be available for you to use during the class, or purchase on the day from $35 (limited colours available), or bring your own! We recommend trying first before you purchase so you can feel what size is suitable for you.
About the Tutor:
Emilija Rupsys
Since beginning her hoop dance journey in 2015, Magic Mandalas (Emilija) has bewitched audiences with her jaw dropping skill set and captivating stage presence. Emilija has performed with her hoops internationally in Macau, China and at international busking festivals, music festivals and other major events across Australia. In 2017, Emilija founded a performing arts business, Eclipse Flow Entertainment, alongside her partner Joe. Emilija is an experienced hula hoop instructor and is passionate about spreading the benefits of hoop dance: healing, connection and fun!
Natalie Adamson
Natalie (Faerie Flow) began her hoop journey in 2016, and since then has grown an obsession for these magical plastic circles. Natalie soon began performing professionally and has mesmerised audiences across Australia in festivals, night clubs, bars and private events. Natalie is passionate about sharing her skills with others and creating a positive community through hoop dance!
