Course Outline:

For students familiar with present, future, past-perfect, imperfect and subjunctive tenses. Students should be able to give definitions in French of basic words. All linguistic aspects of the language will be addressed – listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as pronunciation. We will study a variety of subjects, in texts and videos, from current-affairs to classics of French literature. Grammar will also be covered. Homework is provided. New students are very welcome.

There is no book for this course. Dominique will supply students with various texts and videos each week. These will be related to current affairs, French culture or literature.

Dominique Partridge is an experienced tutor and has been tutoring at Mosman Evening College and now at Northern Beaches & Mosman College. She grew up in the countryside of France and has worked in Paris and London before moving to Australia. Dominique's experience in teaching and her in-depth knowledge of both, the French and English language, ensures her classes are of high standard.
