A comprehensive introductory photography course designed for the new Digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera owner. This course will look into the functions of your digital SLR camera beyond the automatic setting, learn how to use your camera to its fullest potential. A practical 2hr class in included.

About the Tutor
Sydney based for 20 years, Julie is currently working in publishing and advertising, shooting food fashion interiors portraits and lifestyle. Teaching gives her the opportunity of sharing her passion for photography with students of all levels at Northern Beaches & Mosman College.
With a long career in the publishing and advertising sectors, Julie has earned a reputation as much for her extensive portfolio as for her friendly, personable approach and professional execution. Setting up studio in Tahiti for 7 years, and one year in France and Hawaii, contributed to the innovative style of Julies' images influenced by all walks of life and cultures. As a key member of Bauer Media's photographic team for many years - a diverse role encompassing a myriad of editorial and advertorial projects as well as 20 years freelancing across a variety of commissions, Julie has been fortunate to work alongside some of the country's best creatives.
