Course testimonials:

  • I value the opportunity to connect with friends I have made in this group. Margaret chooses interesting books which encourage much discussion.
  • I have been doing this course for years. It is very interesting and a marvellous group of people. I have enrolled for next term already.
  • I love this book group. We have an experienced and talented convenor and a group of wonderful women participants. What more could one ask for.
  • I enjoy learning about and from a wide range of great books with a group of intelligent and caring women and an excellent leader who guides and encourages everyone.
  • Very enjoyable even though it has to be on Zoom for the time being! Venue rating would have been higher had it not been at home!!
  • I have been in this group for years and will continue to participate. Margaret Baird is excellent. All opinions are respected. I look forward to enrolling as soon as possible.
  • Both books were good. "Sacred Scriptures" was amazing and "Nothing to See Here" an easier read to follow. Our Zoom experience is improving with practice. I enjoyed it as always. Thank you.
  • Course great as always. I prefer a normal class but thank you for making zoom possible.
  • I have enjoyed reading the different books selected by Margaret which I probably would not have chosen myself. This has broadened my reading base and enjoyment of reading enormously. Margaret is a great teacher/leader as is shown by the fact our class is consistently full!!
  • Excellent course. I appreciate the effort the college has made to improve the facilities in the meeting room. Air con coffee etc. Louise
